Pretty good.

It seemed okay for a while...nice graphics, a distinctive style. Not really enough choices, but I could overlook that. But then I got to the dragon minigame...At first I thought it was tedious; then I realized it's impossible. Here's a tip for you: People who play "interactive movies" are not expecting to find twitch minigames that take hours of practice.

Pretty good.

I liked it. It had a very distinctive style, almost retro, what with the colored System font and everything. Simple, but interesting gameplay. Unfortunately there appeared to be no way to kill the slime enemy, so it was impossible to get past the first level. Kind of a shame.

Okay.

Actually, I wasn't too impressed. It was simplistic, didn't have any sound...and it was a ripoff of the classic "Nanaca Crash" game. Still, what there was was done well...

Too hard.

It's obvious you put a lot of work into it, so I kinda hate to put you down, but it was too hard. I got to the end of the tutorial--yes, I read everything along the way--and I couldn't get anywhere against the tutorial opponent. Every time he attacked he hit me--I held down Z and waved the lightsaber around, but it just didn't block. And since I couldn't block, I couldn't hit him either, except like once. Oh well. Guess I'll never see that story mode...

Weird...

Kinda fun, but kinda pointless. The graphics and sound were okay (no real animation though). You've got potential.

Incidentally, programmers use the terms "Foo" and "Bar" for unknown quantities. Like, "So if the value of the counter is foo, then we set it to foo+1"...probably from the old "Fubar" slang, but evolved into separate words. so I think "Foobar" is an acceptable spelling.

Buggy and frustrating.

It was okay in concept, but the execution left much to be desired. I tried eating fish the same size as me, and I kept dying. The instructions mention bigger and smaller, but not the same size, so I figure this is a bug that should be fixed. Eventually I lasted long enough to start eating the smallest two sizes of fish...then I started dying when eating the "white" fish AGAIN. That's when I noticed my fish had shrunk-that's definitely a bug. Finally, I got up to some boss lizard guy...I was staying above him so his tongue wouldn't get me, but he jumped up all the way to the TOP of the screen. There was no way to avoid him. Boss fights that aren't fair aren't fun. I gave this a 2.

Not bad, though simplistic.

Good for what it was. I think I found a couple of bugs, though; whenever you hit one of those things that kills everything on the screen, it takes away one of your lives. Also, the score doesn't reset when you get Game Over. And finally, what's up with that miniboss? He didn't do anything at all?

Underworlder responds:

the bugs are being fixed right now lol
umm the pods explosion is hitting you
i warned everyone about that
DO NOT GET HIT BY EXPLOSIONS!!!
the miniboss cant shoot yet
do you read comments at all?!

Fun!

I really like games like this, very simple and elegant. The one problem I had was that the controls were way too sensitive, especially the up arrow; you hold down the up arrow and the thing just goes flying up. Or maybe it was that the force of gravity was too weak? You should tweak that a little.

Surprisingly fun!

It looks fairly primitive, but for some reason I really liked it. I especially liked the things that happen when you go too high or low, that was just funny. Note: This wasn't really clear in the instructions, but you can actually pass through birds without being hurt, as long as they don't hit your *balloon*...

Okay.

It's a two-player Asteroids duel...well, that's okay. But I couldn't find anything about the Last Starfighter movie. Did you hide it somewhere?

RohanDX responds:

You bastard! Why must you make random references to hardly known (yet awesome) movies?
Seriously, though the movie was awesome...There is no secret about it in the game other than the name. I just didn't want to use "Star Wars".
