Good stuff.

Pretty fun game. Elegant in its simplicity. I got 9 balls 232 seconds, and I bet I could do better next time. I was a little surprised at how easy it was compared to the game's comments of "Very Tricky" and such...

Difficult control scheme.

First, this game really needs instructions, because otherwise how are you supposed to know that you're supposed to click WHILE an arrow is reloading? All my arrows were going straight down until I figured out that you had to click just at the right moment to start the power charging. Even if there *were* instructions, this would be a strange control scheme, I really don't understand it.

Anyway, the game itself was okay. The best thing about it was its distinctive art design and "feel".

lol. You're supposed to hold the mouse button down to charge...

Good job!

Neat game! The concept is simple, but fun. The recording of the tags is quite cool. The game is a bit simplistic, but easy to get into.

I only had two complaints. First, the game seemed a little too easy to me. I suspect it's not too hard to just play forever. How about if it got harder the higher up you went? Second, the tagging looks so plain, little yellow letters. Maybe a cooler font or something would help? A random "spray" background, like a splash of color surrounding your tag?

All in all, though, good job!

Interesting.

I liked this game, after I played it for a while and learned what to do. There were some things I would change, though. First, the random events are too nasty when starting out; a fire will completely destroy you, and two "-5" events will lose you the game! How about leaving off the random events until say turn 10? The same goes for the "bad year" when starting out, I just restart the game if I hit one of those before turn 3 or so. Personally, I'd like to see the game play exactly the same every time; that way scores would have nothing to do with luck. But I can see why you designed it this way instead. It's just that if I find myself restarting the game 10 times before I get a first two or three turns that I can work with, I start to think it's a problem.

Other stuff: I would have liked a "buy all" button, especially for food. Also an "army all" would be nice.

And I have to question the use of RPS as an endgame. Talk about luck.

Still, excellent effort overall.

Interesting idea, pretty good execution.

I liked the game, though I had a couple of gripes. First, it isn't really 'pinball', is it? I was expecting pinball, so I was kind of disappointed on that score. Second, it was pretty difficult. I had to retry levels 18 or 19 (forget exactly which) about a dozen times...I gave up at level 20 'cause I just didn't want to fool with it any more. I imagine if someone just wants to play a quick game for a few minutes, they're not going to see most of the content...

By the way, if you're having problems with the right-click menu...The way I would do it is to put after every level a blank frame that has script saying "gotoAndPlay(1)" or wherever you want to point it. And when someone solves a level, you just have them jump forward two frames instead of one. So if they solve the level like they're supposed to, they go to the next one, but if they try to right click-Play to bypass it, they go to the 'stopper' frame that sends them back to the beginning. (Or you could send them to a frame that says "Stop cheating!", or, you know, whatever you want. ;) )

Bugged, or just pointless?

What the heck is this? It says "Press anywhere to start cycling", then a guy just cycles off a cliff, and it says "Om". What's the point?

Okay remake of Qix.

Qix is a classic game, and this is an interesting take on it. I played it for a few minutes and had fun. No problems or glaring errors that I could see. Good work!

Good, but needs work.

The game was good, but it needed one thing. Remember how you had to hold the controller pad diagonally to play Marble Madness? You need to change the controls in this game to make it work like that. The arrow keys make the marble go right, or down, but those are never directions you NEED to go, you always need to go down-right or up-left or something. So, fix that and it'll be a lot better. Also, the boost squares seemed to push the marble in a direction that wasn't straight, so look into that.

Tedious and unrewarding.

I've heard it said that being a soldier involves long periods of boredom punctuated by moments of terror. I can only assume that was your intention in making this game. The graphics and animation were well-done and professional, no question, but the game was tedious. I spent much too long on the first level ("The basics", ironically enough) trying to figure out what to do. Only after 10 or so minutes did I realize that the pipe thing wasn't just part of the background. Eventually I got to kill some zombies...ho hum. And then a face popped out and screamed, like that video they show people watching on America's Funniest Home Videos. Why would I WANT to subject myself to this game?

Now THAT'S funny.

Great parody. I especially liked the mention of Michael Jackson. Heh...skullface.
