Oh, wow. WAY too hard.
Oh, wow. WAY too hard.
There are no instructions. It starts up and I have no idea what to do.
Uhm... yes there are lol
It's pretty good, but a couple of things bothered me. First, the fact that the water was leaking never bothered me. Getting to 'top water' was only slightly more difficult than starting out. Second, if you just hold down the right arrow key the ball will 'loop'; you don't have to lead the ball through the corridors, just keep zooming to the right and adjust a little every now and then. You can even use your 'burn' to keep the ball bouncing around near the top of the screen! Pretty nasty exploit there.
It was certainly well made, but I'm not sure everything worked. I'm sure other people have commented on how slow it feels to play. And ultimately you have no idea about stuff, like, why is there a tree growing on an asteroid in the middle of space? Still, I must admit I never imagined what a lunar lander might be thinking as it traveled to the moon, so that's cool.
It looks pretty well made, it was just too hard.
Sorry about that, just keep trying :)
Thanks for the review!
It's a pretty good game. However, why does it take 5 seconds to load the level every time you die? And then one second before I can actually move--I think I can move, so I jab the up and right keys, but it doesn't register--until it does, but it doesn't jump, it just has me run forward and die. Very frustrating.
How am I supposed to know what to do without instructions? It said "enter" to get past the dialogue, but then what?
Not only is it something we've seen countless times before, and not only are the menus unclear, and not only did it force me to click through instructions before starting...but when I did exactly what it said in the tutorial in the first level, I completely missed the target and FAILED the level. If you're going to have a tutorial, make sure it WORKS.
I don't understand. The first level says "click the box to turn it into a ball; try to get the red balls off the screen"; I click the box, the red ball is pushed off the screen, then I get "FAIL". I'm doing exactly what it says, but I don't pass the level. I thought it was impossible to design a tutorial level that didn't work, but I guess I was wrong.
