Controls? Instructions?
Controls? Instructions?
Kind of easy, I got "survive until wave 25 with no damage" without any problem. Also, it seems to have a bug; I put the "oil" and "scope" upgrades onto a couple turrets, but they somehow "disappeared", like it had never been upgraded at all.
Seriously? This is basically impossible. With how narrow the screen is, there's no time to react to hazards appearing, and even if you could the floaty controls always send you careening off the screen.
It's a clever idea, but it goes...so...slowly...
Also: I was playing level 6, I got everything just the way I wanted it. I moved the pieces around and pressed space so I could walk over to the exit. However, before I could press anything, my character walked to the right until it fell off and died. WTF?
Pretty fun, actually! The enemies that crawl along the ground are quite annoying, though. Also, I kept trying to do the standard Windmill Star thing where you jump over it and it curves upward behind you, but the boomerangs didn't do that...
It's okay, but it has a few flaws that just make it hard to play...It seems like the controls are wonky; a lot of times I'll be clicking to attack and nothing happens. The other thing that really bothered me is that it goes on and on with no ending! Shouldn't there be a pause for buying upgrades or something? I kept getting more and more stressed out as I finished each wave and a new one appeared!
It's competently done, but here's the thing: You start out and immediately are thrown into a race with a bunch of other players, all of whom are BETTER THAN YOU.
It's a little disheartening.
What's the point? It's like a slot machine.
Let's see; I sat through not one but two ads, the game somehow took so much CPU power that my browser popped up a window saying "Shockwave Flash is taking a long time, stop it? Yes/No", the text needs editing, and then ultimately it turns out to be one of those point and click games...There are three locations, one item to pick up, nothing to do with that item. Yeah, this was a waste of 10 minutes.
