I waited 5 minutes but it never loaded. Not even any "50% loaded" or anything like that.

did you click on a flag when asked "which language do you want?" ?

I was, of course, put off by your mocking games that don't do things the way you want to; obviously according to you games should all be simple action-fests staying far, far away from any attempt to make a point or say something about the world, since it's impossible to use games as a means of artistic expression...But I gave it a chance, only to find it was lacking...

Controls? Instructions?

Emrox responds:

Haha I never said that. In fact, I think games have a lot of potential for artistic expression.

It doesn't work. I have no idea which field to enter the answer into and I have no idea which button to press once it's entered. Nothing happens, whatever I try.

Anyway, the answer to the "question" is simple: Do you want to call yourself a gamer? Then, go ahead. Anyone who says "That person isn't a REAL gamer" is trying desperately to hold on to their own imagined social status by ruining your fun.

I love the post-apocalyptic-80s aesthetic, and the scanline effect is nice.

But DAMN those controls are sensitive.

It was pretty good, I liked the graphics and animation. The gameplay was all right, though too easy. The "simplistic/broken English" parody story was okay. One thing I noticed, though, was that somehow the game got 'stuck' with always firing. My character would continue firing even though I didn't press the mouse button. Not exactly a bad thing...heck, I usually had the mouse button held down anyway. Still, seems like a bug.

Great graphics, but too hard. I played three times and I only scored one hit. Ever.

Pretty cool. I definitely like the vector aesthetic with a vague spookiness.

Some few problems: The waves with enemies circling around seem to be kind of easy. All you do is sit in one place and shoot and it's fine. However, the bombardments are really tough--I can't seem to react fast enough to dodge the bombs (or maybe the game lags).

Also, I was playing through the first time and having a tough time with the keyboard, so I pressed Escape to go back to the menu...except it didn't. I had to wait and lose all my lives. Then, after I enabled mouse and started again...it froze. I had to reload the entire page.

I don't have any idea what's going on, and apparently I've been defeated by a small slope.

It's good, but ONE HIT kills you? I don't get the sense of "rampaging" through a dungeon, I get the sense of creeping slowly and waiting carefully so as not to attract the monsters before I'm prepared!
