I think the controls are backwards! Like, I expect D to lean forward and A to lean back, but it's the other way around. Not only that, most games of this type have Up as the gas and Down as the brake, so you can just use the arrow keys to play.

FreneticGamez responds:

ok but with a real bike if you gas in midair you rotate backward so for me is this Controls perfect, but i can of course change it

All right, well...It's not even as fun as Flappy Bird, and that's saying something. You stole the music from the classic arcade game Moon Patrol...I mean, excellent choice of music, but you still stole it. Also, when you die/restart, the previous music doesn't stop, so it just becomes a muddle.

I can't figure out how to wait for a turn. And the game keeps being snide to me when I finish a level. It doesn't motivate me, it just makes me think, if the game had a face I would punch it. In the face.

It's okay, but it's kind of false advertising. There's no way to "set your own goals". The goals are to get 3 stars on each level (you get 3 stars by getting...3 coins? ???) and then get to the exit. It's just a single-room platformer like dozens of others. Also, the death animation takes too long.

So you can jump AND duck simultaneously, which means there's no disadvantage to simply holding down the right button.

Also, it's pretty much impossible.

Egzit responds:

yeah i figured that out but didn't wanna limit ducking ability or anything. And well yeah its impossible there's no end, its just something to waste time on not a real "game"

So...you hold down space bar, and then when you release it the game is over? What's the point of that?

tallypvp responds:

SO.... you eat and drink, and then if you stop eating a drinking you die... What's the point of that?

All right, it's a good start, in that it's actually playable. It needs work, though. For one thing, if I hold down one arrow key, then I tap a different arrow key, I stop moving ALTOGETHER. It makes it difficult to maneuver around if I have to keep tapping and retapping keys. Secondly, if I press the mouse button, I only shoot one fireball...to get a respectable amount of shots I have to repeatedly click (and I STILL don't shoot nearly as often as the enemies do!). And finally, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to DO. Fly around? Shoot pink dragons? Is there a goal, or somewhere to fly to?

Well, it's a good effort; I always like to see people exploring text-based stuff. However, in terms of gameplay it's kind of simplistic, just a bunch of choices where the wrong one leads to instant death. Not really that interesting, especially since some of the choices are arbitrary (I died by going down stairs???). You could try reading some gamebooks or even ChoiceScript games to see how people do this kind of thing.

Also, please learn how to use archaic pronouns like "thee".

The game is certainly playable, but it's so slow, and it takes so many hits to destroy anything...

It doesn't seem to work? I press "New Game" and it goes to some weird loading screen or something...I dunno...
