Haha, yeah, you can ALWAYS make fun of people trying to make the world a better place, amirite? They should shut up and just be selfish like the rest of us!

Jasonario responds:

Haha no way. If you explore more of the dialogue you can see that I'm for it. I feel passionately about the refugee crisis. It's all in good fun

Not a bad idea, well executed. I found it "natural" to divide my attention between the two horses...I don't know what that says about me. O_o

gamenet responds:

Thanks! :) I can do it quite well too. Although it get's very difficult after 100!

I think the controls are backwards! Like, I expect D to lean forward and A to lean back, but it's the other way around. Not only that, most games of this type have Up as the gas and Down as the brake, so you can just use the arrow keys to play.

FreneticGamez responds:

ok but with a real bike if you gas in midair you rotate backward so for me is this Controls perfect, but i can of course change it

So you can jump AND duck simultaneously, which means there's no disadvantage to simply holding down the right button.

Also, it's pretty much impossible.

Egzit responds:

yeah i figured that out but didn't wanna limit ducking ability or anything. And well yeah its impossible there's no end, its just something to waste time on not a real "game"

So...you hold down space bar, and then when you release it the game is over? What's the point of that?

tallypvp responds:

SO.... you eat and drink, and then if you stop eating a drinking you die... What's the point of that?

It's got pretty good graphics. However, when I rotate, I find myself spinning around almost like I'm out of control. The rotation is just too sensitive. Not only that, if I hit a rock, there's no "moment of invincibility" or anything like that; it's way too easy to lose all your lives in quick succession.

nachocpol responds:

I am going to make an update fixing this , thanks for your review.

I can't figure out when to press the keys. Shouldn't there be a tutorial or something? I tried three times and died all three times. Well, that was dumb.

oguztecimer responds:

It can't get any more simple, you are pressing two buttons... You just have to time it well.

First of all, I didn't know I could move to the side until I looked at the game description and saw "WASD or arrows". Personally, I feel all the instructions should be available within the game. I played for a while and got frustrated because I was randomly dying. It turns out those pillars of light are actually HARMFUL. That was definitely not clear for a long time ("things kill you" isn't much of an instruction).

Anyway, I FINALLY got up to 42 or so, but it's just too difficult at that. I think I can guess what the "plot twist" is, though. I have to say, the graphics and animation are great, it's just some of the other bits that need work...

Rarykos responds:

Finally, thank you, I didn't know what people found wrong with the game! So good you wrote it all out :)

I have no idea what's going on. Doors keep closing and blocking my path. My high score is apparently "8".

FatBabyGamer responds:

Press space to shoot to destroy obstacles (including walls) and enemies in your path.
Use the arrow keys or A,D to dodge.

There's something here, but...how do I put this...it's not quite where it should be. First of all, the 'takeovers' are pretty easy; whenever you get your health low you just spam the 'heal' until you're back up to 20 or so, then 'attack' again. Secondly, the bits with the emails, since we're only seeing half the conversation I don't even know what's going on--I have no idea how I'm supposed to react to this. Also, there really isn't any choice in the game, I can't choose to "be a monster" or not, so the whole thing just feels...disconnected.

Still, you did make something playable in two days, so that's something to be proud of. ;)

JoeBrock responds:

True. Unfortunately, I've been so busy that I haven't necessarily been able to update, but thank you for the heads up. This is a game I'm probably not going to update in the near future, given that I'm currently involved in many other projects, but things like this will definitely strengthen my skills and make me better (hopefully it'll make me better at Ludum Dare as well, in the future).
