It's okay, but the controls are floaty...I thought I had stopped in time but I "skidded" into a dot. O_o

jupitron responds:

ThereĀ“s a new version up with that fix, please try it again! Thanks.

It's got great graphics, but it's too HARD!

jsanjuan responds:

Yes, maybe I designed it with an over average difficult level, but it's done that way to make the player think his strategy for each level before doing any movement. You have to observe the enemies' patterns and play with the hologram (if it's discovered by the enemies, they will follow it)

Thanks for commenting.

It's pretty fun, I can't beat the spider boss though...it seems like every time I get in a hit, the game pauses to let the level of spiders climb really high...

Emptygoddess responds:

Stupid spider boss!

What are the red squares? What are the things making green squares? What's a "CD4 count"? Do I really have to kill 1900 enemies to win? Why does the game have a cutscene that last 60 seconds before you actually get to play?

RonJonesTheArtist responds:

Sorry there's a lot of unanswered questions... It's still in beta but I'll be sure to make those things a bit clearer in the future! Thanks!

There seems to be some sort of crazy lag or...a lot of times I'll move somewhere and then just get stuck for several seconds. I can't figure out what the deal is. Too bad, because I kinda like the 'fridge' aesthetic...

TerribleDesign responds:

I'm glad that you like the aesthetic! Getting the lighting right on that fridge picture took way longer than it should have. I am no photographer! That means a lot to me. :)

As for the lag, is it only when you are touching walls? Holding an arrow key towards a wall while touching it will cause your magnet to stick to it. Clause it's a magnet.

As far as I can tell, the game freezing is not common. Stencyl uses Box 2D, so if you have issues running Box 2D games on your computer, this could be the cause. If the Moving red mold stutters, then it is a Box 2D issue for sure. I get minor stuttering during online play, but none during offline testing.

Sadly, I had to cut a few gameplay features that caused Box 2D to stutter more. Let's just say that bacon dominoes and sandwich stacking were going to be a thing. BACON DOMINOES.

The game starts, and after a few seconds the guys yell "WHAT DO WE DO NOW?" and explode.

That's exactly what I was wondering, guys.

Guy-Unger responds:

wow, rude

I try to attack, but I can only attack creatures on the left. The creatures on the right pile up and kill me in seconds.

That whole "Steam" thing is a joke, right? You're not actually trying to get something THIS crappy published, right?

AwesomeEnterprises responds:

You have to press D or right arrow to walk right, then your high/low attacks will kill things on that side.

I should have put this in the description or tutorial...

I don't know what I was playing, but it had great graphics.

SeamusLight responds:

Haha, thanks. It was primarily an animation project more than a game, but I'm glad it went over as well as it did. As you cans see, it's not much mechanically, and more of an attempt to integrate my animation work into a game system. And really, I'm just glad the scripting works (well, mostly.)

It's a jumping off point - a first experiment in making 2D games. And I hope to make a lot more that are more gameplay-driven. Anyway, thank you for the feedback!

It's nice enough...But after I won, nothing happened! I got all the cards, from ace to king of all four suits, onto the target piles and it just kinda...stayed there. The time even kept going!

rirara responds:

Thank you! Its actually a bug and now I'm fixing it. Check the game in few hours if you like it

It kinda seems like all you do is wait until you approach the target, then hold the drill button...of course, if you run out of fuel, you're completely screwed. I don't know, it's got great graphics, I just didn't find it that engaging...

OmiyaGames responds:

I completely agree, believe it or not. Your comment pretty much summarizes my opinion about this game.

Hopefully I'll do better on the next Ludum Dare game jam.
