It looked intruiguing, but it keeps crashing Flash.

jrs1968 responds:

Its working fine here. Are you using Chrome? There is a problem with the chrome flash player that produces some lag on flash apps. Its very simple to fix. Visit this page to see the solution in a few lines http://www.leveldone.com/blog/?p=28 .

It's pretty good. I like the aesthetic, and the sound makes everything cute. I was having a little trouble controlling it, though, because it seemed like the range was limited. I couldn't get it to turn 360 degrees. I tried moving it off one side and then around to the other outside the window, but it snapped back to the other side. Anyway, that bug made it more difficult.

It's pretty good, but some of the aspects are unclear. Like, what causes me to recover health and fuel? Obviously some of the "upgrades" do, but it's gotta be more than that. At one point I ran out of fuel and was just sitting there, then I got some fuel, somehow, and I kept playing. I really had no idea what was going on. The other thing that's annoying about the game is that when you get hit your ship flails around spastically. You just have to hold down the fire button and hope for the best. Also, it seemed kind of easy, there wasn't much strategy, I was able to play for a long time (18,000,000) with just dumb luck. Still, for what it is it's pretty good.

ArcadeBoss responds:

The green orbs provide health and fuel boost. The gold provides power-ups. The ship can get hammered around until you get the battle stability upgrades, until eventually it is solid as a rock. Good score, you should be able to get over 30,000,000 with mastery.

It's pretty fun, but it's less Pong than Breakout...

It's pretty good; I like the way the map expands and you wander around it. The big problem is that it just seems to take SO long to get anywhere.

It's pretty well done, but I think someone enjoyed Antichamber a little too much.

I guess it's okay. I noticed a bug though: When you switch to your second pet, it's like it doesn't have any of the upgrades that you spent all that time getting.

This is really frustrating. I have to go through the level a dozen times and memorize which blocks actually kill me? I have better things to do with my time.

Huh, this looked interesting, too bad there were no instructions.

Well, the animation is cute and the gameplay is fluid. I had a couple of nitpicks, though. First, after a game the "Start" menu option disappears. Second, I was kind of annoyed that I bought sword upgrades before I realized that the fox ears would make them useless.

innomin responds:

If Start is disappearing, that is a symptom of massive lag or a corrupt flash player. Try upgrading the browser / flash player, or playing in a smaller window.

Sword upgrades are still useful against wolves and bears, so don't be too annoyed about that. =)
