I started it up and thought, "Well, this is a pretty model of a tree, but what's the point?". After waving my mouse around I found some random point where the cursor became a hand, so I clicked and got the message "Go away".

Fine with me, I have better things to do.

I like the idea, but WHAT is the problem with the controls? They're all floaty and laggy. It took me about 50 tries just to jump onto a platform, jump onto the next platform AND NOT SLIDE OFF, jump onto a THIRD platform without bumping my head, make a LONG jump to the next platform...with the controls as clunky as they are, it was almost impossible. Next time maybe you should try playing your game to see how likely it is someone will ragequit.

What are the red squares? What are the things making green squares? What's a "CD4 count"? Do I really have to kill 1900 enemies to win? Why does the game have a cutscene that last 60 seconds before you actually get to play?

Sorry there's a lot of unanswered questions... It's still in beta but I'll be sure to make those things a bit clearer in the future! Thanks!

Controls? INSTRUCTIONS?

You stole this, didn't you?

Hmmm, a game with an original, creepy setting!...aaaaand it's a pixel-perfect masochistic platformer. Great. Yeah, I'm just not up for, as the tutorial says, "preforming" all those jumps.

It's kinda fun, but I have no idea what causes me to get "game over" (in Arcade mode). Sometimes hitting some blocks will end the game, sometimes it won't. Sometimes the game will end an instant after it starts, for no reason that I can determine. It took half a dozen "starts" before I saw enough of the "tutorial" to get the idea of what I was actually supposed to do. Why is that in some games the hamster will bounce on the "starting blocks" for up to 10 seconds, and in others about .1 second? It's so inconsistent.

Okay...I got out of the first cave, killed the guy...then what? I can't move or destroy any of the boxes, and my action keys don't do anything different, even though there's some sort of ! on the top right of the screen. Well, that was dumb.

It's pretty good, and a perfect idea; somehow, though, the controls are weird for me. I just can't get used to Z as jump and X as attack, I keep swording when I mean to jump...It's nearly impossible for me to jump up to hit a block...

There seems to be some sort of crazy lag or...a lot of times I'll move somewhere and then just get stuck for several seconds. I can't figure out what the deal is. Too bad, because I kinda like the 'fridge' aesthetic...

TerribleDesign responds:

I'm glad that you like the aesthetic! Getting the lighting right on that fridge picture took way longer than it should have. I am no photographer! That means a lot to me. :)

As for the lag, is it only when you are touching walls? Holding an arrow key towards a wall while touching it will cause your magnet to stick to it. Clause it's a magnet.

As far as I can tell, the game freezing is not common. Stencyl uses Box 2D, so if you have issues running Box 2D games on your computer, this could be the cause. If the Moving red mold stutters, then it is a Box 2D issue for sure. I get minor stuttering during online play, but none during offline testing.

Sadly, I had to cut a few gameplay features that caused Box 2D to stutter more. Let's just say that bacon dominoes and sandwich stacking were going to be a thing. BACON DOMINOES.
