All right, the basic game idea has been done before, but it's pretty solid, and the voxel graphics are good. However, I seemed to have problems with the controls. Like, I would walk over to the box and then I would jab the button, but it wouldn't actually WORK until my character STOPPED MOVING. Also, I would be walking in one direction and I'd press a different direction to turn, but I wouldn't turn. It just felt like I was fighting with the controls.

Insectscorch responds:

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on the controls and the action animation =)

The game part is so-so, but it IS pretty fun to just put the thing together. I see I'm not the only one who put together models that came in pieces you had to twist out of a molded plastic frame!

It's sort of playable, but I don't really get it. There are little arrows, or something, which you run into and it's...good? And then suddenly the kite will burst out light balls, and that's...bad? I have no idea why I get a game over so quickly.

No instructions, Stencyl default assets, having to move with the keyboard and jump with the mouse, bad collision...yeah, I'm afraid this isn't very good.

Yep sos this is my very first game ever! So i was not expecting much sos! :(

How do I get the seeds? Is there movement? The controls don't say anything about movement.

It's a good start, but there's something really wrong with the controls. Like, you start moving and you keep going until you hit something. There's no way to, you know, MANUEVER.

ShadowScout responds:

Hi Listen2Reason,

this are actually wanted game mechanics.
Since I am not the best graphics artist, I tried to make the gameplay more challenging.

Based in the feedback of my betatesters I stuck with the self moving behavior.

Maybe it is not so obvious, but you can also grab the ceiling and platforms by keep pressing the jump key when hit it with "the head".

Thank you for playing.
