dylan responds:

life has no instruction. take control of how you live.

Interesting little Sokoban variant.

ThetaG responds:

Thank you!

It's a good idea, mostly well done, but I keep running into a bug where tiles are blank but they should have numbers on them.

QUIMDUNG responds:

this bug should be fixed now - sorry about that!

I don't really get how to play. The instructions say how to shot web and jump, so I figured you swing along, but it really only makes you inch along really slowly. And now I'm in a pit and I don't have the faintest idea how I could get out.
hhhhhh

I think the animation and artwork are really awesome. Everything is so fluid, and yet, pixelly. I'm not too impressed witht he gameplay, though, you just kinda stand there and mash the button, until they hit you enough times to kill you. (And your health isn't refilled after every wave? Harsh.)

Eafu responds:

There's actually an NPC after Wave 2 who can heal you, for a price.

thanks for the comment!

It's okay, but it keeps crashing, and even if it doesn't crash it takes 5-10 seconds after every restart or new level. The platforming is really finicky, too; I took about 10 tries at level 1(!) before I realized, oh, they really DID design it so you have to do it EXACTLY RIGHT. And at level 7, well, it says itself that it's too far to jump, so I have better things to do with my time.

pixelpandamonium responds:

hm I've not encountered this crashing. I'm assuming your computer is very old/low performance, or you have a problem with shockwave flash player/your browser, or a compatibility issue between the two. sorry for your trouble!

Pointless. Seen it dozens of times before. Also has a bug where you sort of hug the wall.

Why do I die when the shadow touches spikes? And why do the octahedrons reset when I die so I have to keep getting them over and over? Too frustrating.

(Also, why do people use "atmospheric" as a synonym for "quiet"? Lame.)

ONE hit? Seriously? Sigh. Anyway, I couldn't get the wall jump to work, so I gave up on that level. Also, I've never heard of "chromadepth glasses".

HunterStudios responds:

Since I wasn't able to implement shooting in this episode, I chose to go with the one hit setup for now. The next episode will play much better. :) There is no wall jump in the game because there is nowhere that would need it. And chromadepth glasses can be found just about anywhere that sells party supplies. They are the same glasses used in places like haunted houses where they have blacklight paintings on the walls. :)
