Wait...how do I move?
Wait...how do I move?
What even is going on? I keep getting "Face eating", whatever that means, and then dying for no reason I can determine.
Whoa, way too hard.
It's an okay idea, but the yellow slime doesn't jump...
Controls? Instructions?
The arrow keys. Up is jump in this case. You can also double jump! (EDIT: I have since added instructions to both the description and the game itself.)
There's just a screen with some faces on it. I have no idea what to do. I guess it was too much trouble for you to include, you know, instructions or something?
You're in luck, I just added an instructions menu. It's a little jumbled, but you'll figure it out! Have fun! :)
It's playable, certainly...But I guess it's not that much fun, you know? The controls seem a little tricky, like sometimes I was fighting them. And then there was a bit where there was a bomb in every column, it was impossible to survive. It didn't quite seem fair...
I appreciate the feedback! Regarding the controls, I should also add that you can spacebar to dash, there is a subsequent timeout for being able to dash again. When dashing you can pass through bombs which allows for an out when they fill up the columns.
Thanks for taking the time to play.
I click "Controls" on the title screen, and it flashes, but nothing happens! What ARE the controls???
left arrow, right arrow, space bar to jump or up arrow key
All right, but WHY do you start over all the way at the BEGINNING if you lose? Also, it's clumsy to get around corners because the character ("character", I mean it's just a square) doesn't seem to "slide" along the walls.
What are you talking about? It slides on the walls just fine.
Putting you back at the beginning gives you a motivation to not fail, if you do, you gotta do it over again.
It seems okay, the graphics and animation are good, but the weapons just DON'T work. I mean, I shoot an arrow and it sticks in a bat, the bat doesn't even notice, just keeps flying along? And the arrows go THROUGH the boss at the end of the level! This makes it pretty much unplayable.
Maybe I should have made it more clear, but you can make the arrows explode if you press the J key again, sorry about that.
