Man, this was incredible. Having grown up watching those same cartoons, you absolutely nailed it--I saw references to Scooby Doo, Captain Planet, Jem, possibly even He-Man, huh? Awesome. And the way you stuffed in all the subtle references to the comic book is really amazing; it's like the Watchmen story has this power that pokes out from behind the "cartoonishness" you painted over it. I think, for those of us who know the Watchmen story, it's quite respectful in its own satirical way. (My personal favorite bit was the three Doc Manhattans in bed!)

Oh, and your animation skills are absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work. ;)

Pretty cool. After a couple of minutes playing with them, I found the controls pretty natural. The background *did* make it a little hard to see stuff sometimes, especially the flowers that floated around and shot out red bullets.

...But why were the powerups Touhou characters? That's pretty random...

I liked it, but what happens if you go along and you're not strong enough to win a fight? There should be some "random monsters" you can fight to raise your level and earn money outside of the arena.

I liked it, I liked the variety of weapons. However, it took SO long for the bodies to pile up...if you have to wait so long, then the game isn't really about piling up bodies, it's just about shooting enemies. And there are already enough games about *that*...

Awesome! My favorite bit was the "second try" where Mega Man started doing all the crazy jumps and flips, while still being 8-bit sprites. I thought the later bits were kind of boring, with all the DBZ-ish stuff. Still, an excellent effort in all. ;)

"Confusing controls"

It's okay...well implemented and everything, but the controls are backwards. If I'm going down the hill and I turn left, I go to the left...but that would show up as my snowboarder going to the right on my screen. So, pressing left on my keyboard should make me go right on the screen, but instead it makes me go left. I couldn't play the game because of this.
